Hassan The Heaven City
The town is situated 934 m above sea level with fine weather similar to ooty, hence it is also called as poors man ooty.
The town is home to the Master Control Facility. The city
is named after the Goddess "Hassanamba", the city's goddess and presiding deity. Some consider it the temple
architectural capital of
Karnataka.
